SAT i.e. Scholastic Aptitude Test is a standardize assessment test conducted by college board, USA. for doing undergraduate courses. The exam is designed to test the reading, writing and mathematical skill of a student. SAT exam contain 9 sections including essay. SAT exam measures student’s skills in two core areas namely Math and reading + writing. There are 3 main sections in SAT test: Math, Evidence based reading and evidence based writing. There is also an optional 50-minutes essay and this makes total test time to 3 hours 50 minutes. 1. Evidence based reading: This is 65-minutes section with 52 standard multiple-choice questions. There are short and long reading passages in this section and sentence completion questions are asked.
