The University of Waikato, informally Waikato University, is a comprehensive university located in the city of Hamilton, New Zealand. It also has a satellite campus at Tauranga. Established in 1964, it has international students from more than 70 countries which make up around 20% of the 12,500 student population at Waikato.



Programs:

 Study at Waikato Management School, a Triple Crown international business school accredited by EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB since 2005. This is a global benchmark of excellence in teaching and research, achieved by less than 1% of the world's business schools.

1. The Master of Business and Management  (MBM) – 12 Months:

The MBM provides a comprehensive understanding of the fast-paced global business environment and prepares the students to take on a wide range of management and leadership roles. This is an intensive program for students who have a bachelor degree in any area.  It also includes a 3-5 week internship at the end of the program.

Entry Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in any subject discipline with 65 - 70% or its equivalent.
  • International applicants must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent, no band less than 6.0.
2. Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcct)- 14 months:

The Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcct) Program that has been specifically designed for students who have not studied accounting at undergraduate level. The MPAcct will prepare the student for a professional career in accounting. Completion of the MPAcct will enable the student to meet the necessary academic requirements to obtain provisional professional certification with CAANZ, CPA Australia and ACCA.
